These program options are available on a contracted or drop-in basis for families who are interested in flexible extended hours. Those who would like to take advantage of extended hours on a regular basis may wish to contract for them. There is a discount for those who are contracted, and your child is guaranteed a space.
Curriculum
The Montessori Toddler program emphasizes hands-on learning by exploring a prepared environment that focuses on development in the following areas:
•Independence
•Social skills
•Large and small motor development and coordination
•Sensorial exploration (sizes, shapes, colors, taste, smell, touch)
•Language acquisition and expression (naming, describing, tracing shapes, drawing, painting)
We nurture a sense of wonder and respect for nature and all living things, enjoy music and movement activities, and provide children with the comfort of consistency and order in their day and week.
Children progress at their own pace and build confidence in their abilities.
